Please pray for Jon.
My cousin Jon Thomann has been in the hospital the last week. He fell down a flight of concrete stairs and did some major damage to his head that required brain surgery. He has not fully become consious yet, but there are indications that he is becoming more active. This has been a trying time and has been hard on all of us.
Please pray for his recovery. If you would like to know more about his current situation, his girlfriend, parents and brother are keeping us all updated with this website/blog:

If you would like to help out financially, there has been a new Support Fund recently set up. You may send checks to the
Jon Thomann and Family Support Fund
P.O. Box 1262
Columbia MO 65205-1262
For more information on the fund and its purpose, you may contact Cathi Harris at 573-220-6582.

a couple of quotes from Twelfth Night by Shakespeare
ACT I
SCENE 1
Duke:
If music be the food of love, play on;
Give me excess of it, that, surfeiting,
The appetite may sicken and so die.
SCENE v
CLOWN.
Well, God give them wisdom that have it; and those that are
fools, let them use their talents.
ACT II
SCENE 3
CLOWN.
[Sings.]
What is love? 'T is not hereafter;
Present mirth hath present laughter;
What's to come is still unsure.
In delay there lies no plenty,
Then come kiss me, sweet and twenty,
Youth's a stuff will not endure.

This is harder than it looks...
I was going to put in a lot of quotes in this blog that were really interesting to me... but what I've been finding and thinking about more and more is that this sort of may violate copyrights of the owners of those quotes... so I guess I'll need to try to stick to looking to public domain sources for quotes since that stuff isn't copyrighted anymore...
I had several quotes in here earlier, but deleted them since they could well be considered copyright violations... so they don't need to be here.

Hi there.
This blog is intended to be a massive resoivoir of quotes from people of all walks of life that are pretty useful, or inspiring in some way. If I make up a quote of my own, the quote post won't have any by lines, or will have a byline with my name in it. One of my hobbies is going online or in to books and finding quotes that inspire me to live better. I often put these in to jpg files that I use as a screen save on my own computer. Feel free to use the quotes I present here for that or for whatever other uses you have a need for them for.
For the quotes I put up here myself... I think of myself as a bit of an artist/poet/songwriter/eccentric type and often write out things in sketch books that are sort of written on the fly or talk out things in a digital voice recorder that I occassionally use when I'm driving to and from work and no one else is in the car - I don't have a radio in one of our cars, and am usually up walking the dog and getting ready for work by 3AM, so am a bit tired on occassions as I go to work...this is one way to pass the time better, and it keeps me awake at the same time.
